Tech We Can has been created to help address the gender imbalance that is seen at a recruitment level and in industry for technology careers by the signatories behind The Tech She Can Charter.

 

The lesson packs, video tutorials and further material are available for free to all schools to download.

Creative Careers is an initiative set up by the UK creative industries to make it easier for young people to find careers in the creative sector.

 

Through an online portal, users are able to explore their directory for careers information and opportunities with their creative partners including, but not limited to, ScreenSkills, Royal Institute of British Architects, Radio Centre, UK Music and the National Careers Service.

 

For teachers and career leaders, this online platform also hosts a variety of resources to complement their careers curriculum and help open students’ eyes to the opportunities and careers available in the UK’s creative industry.

Take the Lead is a free employability programme from The Old Vic for students aged 15-18 that uses theatre techniques and creative workshops to build on five core skills: communication, self-management, self-belief, teamwork and problem solving. 

 

This programme supports young people to take ownership over their next steps after school and prepare them for the working world of the future.

 

Take the Lead is designed for students in Year 11-13, and they don't have to be studying drama to take part. Applications are open to all secondary state schools based within the M25.

The NextGen Leaders series was designed to provide future talent around the globe with insights into the marketing industry and an in-depth look at WPP – from the culture to how agencies make ads, to creating customer experiences and navigating the industry.

 

NextGen Leaders is available for current university students and recent graduates, school leavers and people with 0-2 years of experience in any field. No previous marketing experience is required - just bring your curiosity, your personality and your passion! Registration will close on Friday, April 30th, 2021.
