LifeSkills created with Barclays is a fully funded employability programme that is designed to respond to the specific needs of your school and help support you reach a number of Gatsby benchmarks.
The multi-part programme includes four facilitator-led workshops, three teacher-led activities in between our visits and independent study for students aged 14 and over. We offer a flexible delivery model which includes in-person (face to face) delivery, virtual (live, remote), or a combination of both.
Topics that can be covered include CV writing, interview techniques, developing an enterprising mindset, in addition to opportunities to develop core transferable skills such as problem solving, creativity, and being proactive. The end result will be to build a cohort of confident and capable students, furnished with the knowledge they need to make the transition from education to the job market.

How places are allocated:
These are allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis to schools in our target cohort (higher than average numbers of pupils eligible for pupil premium funding).
