Key Stage 4: Opportunities for 2020-21

Various workshops for KS3, KS4 & KS5 students helping to develop core employability skills through challenging participants to think about how to use the latest emerging and cutting-edge technologies to solve real life KPMG client briefs.

A series of resources which help young people prepare for life after school.  The focus is on developing their core transferable employability skills, raising self-confidence, motivation and aspirations as well as improving financial capabilities.

An amazing virtual careers event with inspirational and engaging online workshops and activities hosted by a range of employers. Rock Assembly also includes live musical performances with an exclusive artist Q&A! The theme of the day is for students to ‘think big’ about their futures.

A 2-hour workshop for KS4 and KS5 students supported by NHS nursing ambassadors aimed at dispelling the myths around the nursing sector and informing young people about the amazing opportunities that a nursing career can offer. 

A multi-part mentoring programme for specific groups of Year 10 students from across a number of Bury secondary schools helping to develop their core transferable skills, raise self-confidence, increase motivation and nurture aspirations.

A multi-part mentoring programme for specific groups of Year 10 students from across a number of Taunton secondary schools helping to develop their core transferable skills, raise self-confidence, increase motivation and nurture aspirations.

A series of four workshops for Year 11 students, delivered virtually or in school, and supported by Network Rail volunteers, helping students to develop key employability skills and to learn about the career opportunities available at a large corporate organization.
