Key Stage 3: Opportunities for 2021-22

A science-focused programme for KS3 students delivered in school to help inform young people about the career opportunities available in facilities management and electrical & mechanical engineering, with a focus on apprenticeships.

A one-day STEM-based workshop for KS3 students delivered in school, focusing on team-building, engineering, sustainability, innovation, community engagement and environmental responsibility. 

A one-day workshop for KS3 students at universities across the country, involving a collaborative challenge with a focus on solving social and environmental issues. The programme supports students to develop employability skills and raises their academic aspirations.

A workshop for KS3, KS4 & KS5 students helping to develop core employability skills by challenging participants to think about how to use the latest emerging and cutting-edge technologies to solve real life KPMG client briefs.

A series of four workshops which help young people prepare for life after school. The focus is on developing their core transferable employability skills, raising self-confidence, motivation and aspirations as well as improving financial capabilities.

A fun and inventive workshop challenge for KS3 students linking mathematics to real life, helping students develop mathematical knowledge and skills and develop core competencies such as teamwork, problem solving, and staying positive.

An amazing careers event with inspirational and engaging workshops and activities hosted by a range of employers. Rock Assembly also includes live musical performances with an exclusive artist Q&A! The theme of the day is for students to ‘think big’ about their futures.

The Big Idea sees students act as a brand new 'social enterprise' company who want to gain funding from Dell for a new and exciting tech product! Students are challenged to consider how their new product will support their local community.
